Springvale Church, has been a part of the greater Red Lion area for over 110 years.
In 1912, some of the townspeople in this then bustling little town of Springvale thought it would be a good idea to have their own house of worship. There was a Post Office, tannery, saw mill and several cigar factories in the village, so why not a church? So, land was donated by Henry Sevis and work began on the structure, which was finished and dedicated on the 2nd day of February 1913 as St. Paul’s Evangelical Church. Beautiful stained glass windows were presented by members of the congregation.
Today, the village may not have all those vibrant little factories, but one Light in the vale still shines brightly, Springvale Church.
